Ynda Rouya is a French model and an actress of Algerian and Mongolian origins. She speaks french, english and spanish.Before modeling and acting she has earned a degree in particle physics. She started working as a model in Paris. She is best known for Tony Enzo advertising, appeared in Citizen K magasine editorials, Lancome advertising, did runways for Chanel lingerie...

Then she became an actress learning The Method at Bilingual Acting Workshop and took some dance classes with Luigi Facuito (dance coach for "Saturday Night Fever" and had coached Lisa Minelli and Marsa Berenson). Her first short movie was broadcasted on the french channel France 3 and had very good critics in the magasine Telerama. Then she did an franco iranian movie in english distributed at the Cannes Film Festival and had an article on Hollywood reporter review Montreal for 4:48 film by the french director Jacky Katu. This film was also distributed at the Cannes Film Festival. She is currently preparing a movie with the french director Claude Lelouche starring Robert de Niro and Harvey Keitel. In prepration also, A Dream Last Night director Pierre Filmon based on a novel by Budd Schulberg ( oscar winner for On The Waterfront with Marlon Brando and Eva Marie Saint) in which she might be playing her first feature lead role.
